Job Summary and Responsibilities Creighton University Medical Center and CHI Health seek to recruit a Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery faculty physician to expand our clinical, research, and educational activities within the Department of Surgery and its Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. The incumbent will aid in the growth and delivery of a wide breadth of reconstructive and cosmetic surgical cases within a large referral base, a growing Breast Cancer Surgery Center of Excellence, and a large integrated health care system. This opportunity is for a seasoned or junior clinician to enhance plastic surgery across all domains in partnership with outstanding colleagues and dynamic academic and business leadership. These clinical, academic, and educational domains include: Level I Trauma Breast Reconstruction Body Contouring Oncologic Reconstruction Growing Head & Neck Program General Face & Body Cosmetic surgery Development of an elective microsurgery program to support multidisciplinary programs for post‑traumatic and oncologic reconstruction is highly desirable. Responsibilities The physician will teach Creighton University’s surgical residents and medical students, conduct research in collaboration with scientists within Common Spirit and Creighton University School of Medicine, and report to the Division Chief of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. The role also involves participation in surgery centers at the academic medical center and community‑based hospital, engagement with a large cash‑pay population, and collaboration across subspecialty surgery teams to achieve the highest outcomes in every procedure. Qualifications Candidates should hold a fellowship or residency in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and possess interest in scholarly and educational activities. An academic rank commensurate with experience at Creighton University School of Medicine is required.
