Location: Omaha, NE Requisition Number: 2025 - 366 Job Title: Facial Plastics Surgeon / Faculty Rank DOQ Job Type: Full-time Faculty (DOQ – depends on qualifications) Salary: Commensurate with experience Position Summary The University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) Department of Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery seeks a full‑time faculty member at any academic rank to provide comprehensive care in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, including functional and cosmetic procedures, facial trauma, head and neck reconstruction, and general otolaryngology‑head and neck surgery. Our department is committed to excellence in patient care, medical education, research, and community service. Position Requirements MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent Completion of an ACGME‑accredited residency in Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery and fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery (or equivalent) Eligible for medical licensure in Nebraska prior to start date Clinical Responsibilities Cosmetic and reconstructive care of the face, including rhinoplasty, facelift and neck lift, brow lift, blepharoplasty, otoplasty, facial reconstruction following Mohs surgery Development of programs in facial nerve reanimation and gender‑affirming surgery is strongly encouraged Excellence in clinical practice, program development, quality improvement, and innovation in care delivery is required Teaching & Academic Responsibilities Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows Participate in didactic and formal lecture activities Contribute to the academic and research missions of the department Academic Rank & Compensation Academic rank and compensation, including a generous package of fringe benefits, will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
