About the Role We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support our billing and finance operations. In this role, your primary responsibility will be processing credit applications on behalf of our clients to facilitate the financing of their telecommunications, hardware, and IT service needs. You will act as a vital bridge between our clients, the sales team, and our internal finance department—ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and processed in a timely manner to provide a seamless onboarding experience. Responsibilities Application Processing: Receive, review, and process client credit applications for hardware, software, and service agreements. Enter client data accurately into internal systems and third-party financing portals. Document Verification: Review incoming paperwork to ensure all required fields, signatures, and supporting financial documents are complete before processing. Status Tracking & Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for the sales team and clients regarding the status of pending applications. Proactively follow up on missing information or delayed approvals. Data Management: Maintain organized, confidential, and secure digital records of all credit applications, approvals, denials, and corresponding correspondence. Internal Coordination: Work closely with the Accounts Receivable and Sales teams to transition clients smoothly from credit approval to active billing. General Administrative Support: Assist the broader finance team with daily administrative tasks, including answering billing inquiries, basic data entry, and generating simple status reports. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field is a plus. Experience: 1+ years of experience in an administrative, data entry, banking, or finance clerk role. Previous experience processing loans, credit applications, or financing paperwork is highly preferred. Technical Skills: Comfortable using Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word. Ability to quickly learn new software, CRM systems (like Salesforce), and third-party portals. Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple applications simultaneously. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a polite and professional demeanor when interacting with clients and internal teams.
