IT Business Analyst – ERP Financials & Enterprise Applications

Location: Atlanta, GA Area (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

We're seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to play a key role in enterprise technology and ERP transformation initiatives. This position will partner closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to improve processes, gather requirements, drive solution design, and support large-scale ERP and enterprise application projects.

What You'll Do

• Partner with business leaders and end users to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Create process flows, wireframes, mockups, user stories, and other business analysis deliverables.
• Support ERP and enterprise application implementations, enhancements, and optimization initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops, requirements sessions, and stakeholder meetings.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
• Participate in testing efforts including UAT planning, execution, and validation.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, training materials, SOPs, and user guides.
• Lead end-user training sessions, system demonstrations, and adoption activities.
• Support change management initiatives and help drive successful user adoption.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.

What We're Looking For

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience working as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise applications or ERP initiatives.
• Strong understanding of ERP Financials, including areas such as:
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Order-to-Cash (O2C)
• Procurement / Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
• Payroll
• Project Accounting
• Service & Maintenance
• Experience creating traditional BA artifacts including:
• Requirements documentation
• User stories
• Process maps and workflows
• Wireframes and mockups
• Functional specifications
• Experience supporting UAT, testing, training, and deployment activities.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Visio and Microsoft Office tools.

Preferred Experience

• ERP implementation, migration, or transformation project experience.
• Experience within construction, industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or field services environments.
• CRM platform experience.
• Familiarity with database concepts and reporting tools.
• Experience with Agile and SDLC methodologies.
• PMP, Scrum Master, MBA, or related certifications.
• Experience with IFS ERP or similar enterprise ERP platforms.
