What You'll Do

• Cover obstetrics emergencies, deliveries, ER, floor, and triage during your shift
• Respond to first calls from the antepartum floor service and ED consults
• Assist with cesarean deliveries and gynecologic surgeries as needed
• Provide prenatal and postpartum patient care, including high-risk obstetrics
• Support GYN procedures such as ultrasounds, Pap smears, IUD insertions/removals
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including family medicine residents, OB/GYN residents, and nurses
• Offer consults to CNMs and FP practitioners, with MFM available 24/7

What You Need

• MD/DO, Board Certified or Eligible (within 2 years)
• Valid Wisconsin license or eligibility via IMLC
• BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications
• 1+ years of obstetric experience (preferred)
• DEA license

• 3 years of obstetrics experience
• High-risk obstetrics experience

About the Assignment Join a regional trauma and transfer center in Madison, WI, known for delivering comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care. You will be part of a collaborative, team-based environment with strong nursing and ancillary support, managing a caseload of approximately 3-5 deliveries per day along with gynecologic emergencies.
