HVAC Warehouse Associate

General Job Description Position Summary This position is responsible for a variety of warehouse functions, including receiving shipments, organizing inventory, preparing orders, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and performing physical tasks throughout the day. Key Responsibilities Receive, unload, and inspect incoming deliveries to verify accuracy and condition of items. Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for customer delivery or transfer. Stock materials in designated areas and maintain organized inventory throughout the warehouse. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently, including frequent mounting and dismounting. Maintain warehouse cleanliness by removing trash, sweeping, and organizing materials. Prepare shipping labels and documentation for outbound orders. Ensure products are labeled and stored according to company standards. Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed. Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE and equipment. Additional duties as assigned. Minimum Education None Minimum Years of Experience 0-2 Specific Qualifications Qualifications High School diploma or GED equivalency. 1+ years of warehouse experience (preferred) Ability to pass all required safety training, background checks, and drug screening. Valid Ohio Driver's License with a clean driving record Forklift certification is a plus Self-motivated, punctual, and dependable with a strong attention to detail. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, dust, noise, and moving equipment. Follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday. Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Regularly bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist while handling inventory and warehouse materials. Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, including frequent mounting and dismounting. Use handheld scanners, computers, and shipping equipment to complete warehouse tasks. Maintain the ability to visually inspect products, read labels and documentation, and communicate effectively in a warehouse setting. Perform repetitive physical tasks while maintaining productivity and attention to detail. Work safely and efficiently in varying warehouse conditions, including heat, cold, and moderate to high noise levels.
