Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree: Required only if obtained license on or after January 2016; or foreign equivalent

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 4 10-hour shifts
• Hours: 6:50 am to 5:50 pm
• Expected weekly hours: 40
• Patient-facing time: 38 hours with 2 hours of documentation time
• Days off may be Tuesday/Wednesday or Thursday
• Outpatient caseload only
• No on call

Location Highlights

Lodi, California offers access to both outdoor recreation and regional travel. Lodi Lake Park provides kayaking, trails, and picnic areas within the city, and the Mokelumne River runs through the area with waterfront access nearby. The city is known for the Lodi Wine Country region with more than 85 wineries, and downtown Lodi includes local shops, dining, and the historic Hill House Museum. Lodi sits about 35 miles south of Sacramento and about 90 miles east of San Francisco, which supports weekend trips to major urban attractions and transit connections. For outdoor travel, Folsom Lake State Recreation Area is within about an hour, and Yosemite National Park can be reached in roughly 3 hours for hiking and mountain scenery.
