As a Security Officer Screening Checkpoint in Carol Stream, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and/or materials, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with team members, and support efficient operations through integrity, reliability, and teamwork. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.04 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location. Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries in accordance with access-control and screening procedures. Inspect packages, parcels, and personal items as directed by site procedures, documenting discrepancies and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, loading areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
