Registered Dietitian (RD)

Seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) to assess and monitor residents' nutritional status, develop care plans, and evaluate special needs related to nutrition support, skin health, and weight management. Key Responsibilities Coordinate procurement of nutrition supplies and oral supplements with vendors and departments Oversee meal service to ensure diet modifications are followed Educate residents, families, and staff on nutrition concepts and diet modifications Continuously evaluate and adjust dietary care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team Work with Speech-Language Pathologists to provide appropriate diets for residents with dysphagia Review menu changes for compliance with policies and regulations Update diet orders and menus in software systems daily Supervise dietary staff to ensure quality resident care Conduct routine audits to ensure nutrition quality and compliance with weight monitoring regulations Maintain daily communication with team members to deliver exceptional resident care Qualifications And Skills Registered Dietitian certification Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities Knowledge of applicable state and federal guidelines Proficiency with EMR software and computer-based menu systems #J-18808-Ljbffr
