Facilities Technician

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Facilities Technician will work in the Facilities Department to ensure the proper working order of the facility, grounds and display company core values.

Essential Functions

• Facility maintenance.
• General facilities repair - plumbing, drywall, painting, carpentry, flooring, light fabrication, landscaping, and light HVAC
• Preventative maintenance of the facility, appliances, and equipment
• Furniture and appliance assembly and disassembly
• Event setup and tear down
• Janitorial/cleaning
• Maintaining facilities supplies

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications

• Maintenance and janitorial.
• Analytical problem solving.
• Mechanical ability.
• Current and clean California Driver's License (CDL).
• Forklift experience is desirable.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Positive attitude and initiative.
• Ability to take ownership and be accountable.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing job requirements.
• Good mechanical ability.
• Good organizational and communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Competent computer skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Physical Demands

• May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• May be required to stoop, bend, and crouch.
• Frequently works outdoors on uneven surfaces.

Work Environment

• Works in a climate-controlled environment 50% of the time.
• May work in varying weather conditions: hot, cold, and wet conditions.
• May work in areas with large industrial equipment subject to high noise levels.
• May occasionally work in areas with hazardous chemicals.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Rate $29.00-$35.00/ hour (Non-Exempt)
  • Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. CSI reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the selected candidate's qualifications.
