Quality Control Inspector – Dish & Flange

Location: Fort Worth, TX
Pay: $19/hr. or more depending on experience during 1st-shift training; increases to $22/hr or more depending on experience once transitioned to 2nd shift
Schedule: Training on 1st shift, then transition to 2nd shift

Job Summary

Company that produces tank heads and pressure vessel components is seeking Quality Control Inspectors to join their manufacturing team. This position will begin with training on the 1st shift, where you will learn the inspection and production processes for dished heads and flanges . Once fully trained, employees will transition to 2nd shift and receive an increase to $22/hr .

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to read measurements, and experience working in a manufacturing, fabrication, welding, or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect manufactured parts to ensure they meet quality and customer specifications.
• Learn and perform quality checks on dished heads and flanges .
• Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and other inspection equipment.
• Identify defects, dimensional issues, or other quality concerns.
• Compare finished products against drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Document inspection results and communicate quality issues to supervisors or production personnel.
• Work closely with production employees to maintain consistent product quality.
• Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties related to quality control and production as assigned.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing, fabrication, welding, machining, or industrial experience preferred.
• Previous QC or inspection experience is a plus but not required .
• Strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with measurements and basic math.
• Ability to read and understand basic drawings or specifications is a plus.
• Ability to work in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift, stand, bend, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to learn.

Pay Progression

• 1st Shift Training: $19/hr or more depending on experience
• After training / transition to 2nd Shift: $22/hr. or more depending on experience
