Accountant

AccountantWe are seeking an Accountant to perform monthly accounts receivable activities, provide accounting guidance and support, and serve as a liaison with finance teams and internal/external customers.Responsibilities:Analyze account balances, investigate unusual items, make adjustments, and reconcile balance sheet accounts.Review and post journal entries and resolve accounting issues.Coordinate with accounting and finance teams to research and resolve questions.Post, review, and reconcile cross-border charges and transactions.Support general ledger activities, including recurring journal entries, cost centers, GL accounts, and accounting periods.Provide financial/accounting systems training and user guides as needed.Perform accounting and financial updates, calculations, and accuracy reviews.Support ongoing internal and external financial reporting.Requirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.Understanding of applicable accounting rules and regulations.Strong organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong computer skills, including Excel.Experience with the General Ledger module of an ERP system; SAP preferred.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Physical & Work Environment:General office environment with extensive sitting, phone, and computer use.May occasionally be required to lift, move, and carry up to 25 pounds.Fluency in English required.The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, paid parking/public transportation, paid time off, paid sick and safe time, hours of paid vacation time, weeks of paid parental leave, and paid holidays annually – as applicable.
