This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in precision, and wants steady weekday hours.Job DutiesSet up and operate a laser cutting/burn table to cut sheet metal (steel, aluminum, and other materials) to specificationLoad and align metal sheets for accurate cuttingRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work ordersInspect cut pieces for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specificationsMeasure parts to ensure tolerances are met (tape measure, calipers, micrometers)Identify defects or errors and correct issues during the cutting processPerform routine maintenance and replace consumables (tips, lenses, nozzles) as neededTroubleshoot basic machine issues and make minor adjustments to keep production movingMaintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedures/PPE requirementsWork closely with the fabrication/production team to meet deadlines and quality expectationsRequiredHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to read blueprints/technical drawings and follow work instructionsStrong attention to detail and quality focusMechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skillsAbility to work in a physically active manufacturing environmentPreferredPrior experience operating a laser table or similar CNC/metal fabrication equipmentWelding and/or CNC training or certificationFor more information call Kristin at View phone number on click.appcast.io or email her at View email address on click.appcast.io Employment Services is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
