Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) are needed to fill several contract roles in local schools for the 2026-2027 academic year. With opportunities across elementary, middle, and high school settings, these flexible PRN (substitute/per-diem) positions offer the potential to transition into long-term, full-time roles as needs arise.

You’ll provide care in the school health room, addressing a variety of student needs throughout the day and collaborating with school staff to ensure a positive experience. Thorough district orientation and training are provided before your start date, setting you up for success in your role.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Florida LPN license in good standing
• High school diploma or GED
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• School-based nursing experience preferred
• Ability to complete all required and time-sensitive credentialing, including fingerprinting and obtaining a JLA badge
• Adaptability to varying student health needs and school environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to students during the school day
• Respond to student health needs as they arise in the health room
• Communicate clearly with educational staff, families, and district health partners
• Maintain accurate health documentation and comply with school policies
• Support and prioritize student safety and health at all times

This contract role offers a competitive pay range of $29-$30 per hour, with part-time flexible scheduling. PRN positions are always available, and there’s potential for advancement should full-time openings arise.
