GIS Specialist/Analyst

Seeking a GIS Analyst with 5-7 years of experience in ArcGIS, geospatial analysis, and GIS database management.


Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ortho-photointerpretation and change detection using LiDAR and ortho-derived building footprints
• Maintain, update, and QA/QC GIS databases
• Analyze and attribute structure footprints using PG&E and public data sources
• Support data migration, digitization, and geospatial data management
• Develop workflow documentation and process improvement recommendations
• Reconcile and post edits to production databases

Required Skills:

• 5-7 years of GIS Analyst experience
• Strong experience with ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online (AGOL), ArcSDE, and ESRI products
• Experience with LiDAR, orthophotography, and spatial analysis
• SQL and relational database experience (MS SQL Server)
• Knowledge of Python, VBA, or ArcObjects scripting
• Strong GIS data quality, QA/QC, and database management skills

Preferred:

• Experience supporting Class Location/HCA analysis
• Exposure to GIS application development (C#, ASP.NET, Adobe Flex, Silverlight)

Compensation:


The hourly rate for this position is between $48.00-$55.00 per hour.
