Our organization is in search of a Hematology - Oncology Physician to provide locum tenens support to address an immediate need.

Below are the specifics and qualifications for this position:

• Schedule: Full-time; Monday to Friday clinic hours with an on-call schedule.
• Practice Setting: Both inpatient and outpatient; the oncology clinic is connected to a chemotherapy treatment center and a hospital. Expect to see approximately 12-15 patients per shift.
• Case Types and Procedures: Focus on Hematology and Oncology cases.
• Credentialing Timeframe: An active medical license is required.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic system.
• Certifications Required: Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association; registration with the Drug Enforcement Administration is necessary.
• Licensure: An active medical license in California is mandatory. Candidates should be Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years post-residency.
