About the Role
The Company is seeking a visionary and student-focused leader to serve as its next president. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the future of workforce-responsive higher education in the region, leading the institution through a period of significant growth, and ensuring that educational programs align with the evolving demands of the workforce. This role demands a leader who is innovative, strategically agile, and capable of fostering a culture of student success and institutional excellence. The president will be expected to engage with external stakeholders, including employers, to enhance workforce development and create opportunities for students. Applicants for the president position at the company should hold an earned doctoral degree and have a minimum of 10 years' experience in a higher education setting, with a proven track record in a senior administrative role. Experience in community or technical college leadership, particularly with a focus on workforce development and employer engagement, is highly valued. The ideal candidate will be adept at leading through change, and will be committed to the principles of open access, high-quality, and affordable education. A background that includes teaching in a higher education environment, or equivalent experience, is also preferred, as it demonstrates an understanding of faculty roles and student-centered instruction. The president will be a key figure in positioning the institution as a model for innovation and student success, and must be prepared to take on this pivotal role with a clear vision for the future.
