JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine; if not ABEM, ACLS, ATLS, PALS required
Licenses:
DEA / CDS:
Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS required (if not ABEM board certified)
Experience: Residency trained in specialty required
Other Qualifications:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the ED.
Work a combination of day and night shifts as scheduled (7a-7p, 2p-12a, 7p-7a).
Collaborate with NP/PA staff to manage patient flow and volume (79 patients per day).
Utilize Ochsner EPIC EMR for documentation and order entry.
Participate in onboarding orientation, EMR training, and shadow shift.
