Social Media Specialist

Jean’s is looking for a creative, culturally plugged-in Social Media Specialist to help bring the Jean’s brand to life across social media. This role is ideal for someone who understands hospitality, nightlife, food, fashion, and culture—and knows how to turn what’s happening inside the restaurant into content people want to watch, share, and engage with.

The right person will have a strong creative eye, excellent instincts for social media, and the ability to capture Jean’s distinct voice : confident, playful, stylish, culturally aware, and never overly corporate.

What You’ll Do

• Own day-to-day content creation and publishing across Instagram, TikTok, and X
• Develop content that consistently reflects Jean’s voice, personality, and point of view
• Capture the energy of Jean’s—from food and cocktails to guests, events, nightlife, and behind-the-scenes moments
• Shoot and edit short-form video for Reels and TikTok
• Create original graphics and social assets that feel cohesive with the Jean’s visual identity
• Write sharp, engaging captions and social copy in Jean’s voice
• Identify relevant trends, formats, sounds, and cultural moments and translate them into content that feels authentic to Jean’s
• Build and maintain a consistent content calendar while remaining flexible enough to capture spontaneous moments
• Engage with the Jean’s community across social platforms and help grow an active, recognizable audience
• Collaborate with the Jean’s team on events, special programming, menu moments, partnerships, and other brand initiatives
• Review content performance and use insights to continuously improve the social strategy

What We’re Looking For

• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and X , including the different voice and content style appropriate for each platform
• Excellent understanding of brand voice and the ability to write specifically in Jean’s voice
• Strong graphic design capabilities , with experience creating polished social-first graphics and assets
• Strong video shooting and editing capabilities , particularly short-form vertical content
• A great visual eye and understanding of what makes food, hospitality, nightlife, and people look compelling on social
• Deep awareness of social trends, internet culture, music, fashion, food, and nightlife
• Comfortable creating content quickly in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Organized, proactive, collaborative, and able to take an idea from concept through execution
• Prior social media or content creation experience for restaurants, hospitality, lifestyle, fashion, entertainment, or culturally relevant brands is a plus

Availability

This is a hands-on role that requires being present when Jean’s is at its best. Candidates must be available nights and weekends to capture real-time content, events, dinners, and the energy of the restaurant.

This is not a traditional Monday–Friday, 9–5 social media position. Flexibility and enthusiasm for being on-site during key moments are essential.
