About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff to the Vice President for Administration and Finance and CFO. This senior executive role is pivotal in advancing the strategic, operational, and organizational priorities of the Administration and Finance division. The successful candidate will be a trusted partner, responsible for translating the VP's priorities into action, coordinating complex initiatives, and ensuring accountability. Key responsibilities include executive-level strategic coordination, project management, issue management, decision support, and high-level communications. The Chief of Staff will also be involved in preparing and coordinating various executive materials, representing the VP in different settings, and serving as a key liaison with senior leaders and external partners. Applicants for the Chief of Staff position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years' of experience in executive-level administration, strategy, project management, finance, or related work. The role requires exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills, as well as strong analytical, organizational, and project management abilities. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree and experience in a similar fast-paced, high-visibility environment, particularly within the higher education or public sector. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 is essential, and the ability to interact credibly with a diverse range of stakeholders is a must. The Chief of Staff must be an adaptable, proactive problem-solver with the ability to manage multiple high-priority matters and operate with a high degree of independence.
