About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff Manager/Project Management 1 to support an Operating Unit within the Global Mission Solutions BU. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks, including assisting with the review of project and budget status, resource planning, and the preparation and facilitation of meetings. This role also involves supporting various administrative functions for the Operating Unit Director and provides an opportunity to gain a deep understanding of business and portfolio operations. Key responsibilities for the Chief of Staff Manager/Project Management 1 include supporting the development and execution of the Operational Unit's Annual Operating Plan and Long-Range Strategic Plan, providing strategic advice on financial performance and resource allocation, and leading initiatives to improve productivity and financial performance. The role requires a candidate with a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years' of relevant professional experience, or a Master's degree with at least 3 years' of experience, in areas such as program or project management, business operations, and technical programs. The candidate must have a strong background in project/program management, business management, or cross-functional team leadership, and be adept at analyzing financial performance and developing recommendations. Experience in a U.S. Government contracting or regulated environment is essential, as is proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint. U.S. citizenship and a current/active DoD Secret clearance are also required. The ideal candidate for this role at the company will have a Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification, as well as experience with Cost Account Management (CAM) and Earned Value Management (EVM) principles. While not mandatory, experience within the company's organizational structures and processes is preferred. The role demands a high level of strategic thinking, the ability to work with senior executives, and a commitment to promoting a collaborative and high-performance environment. The Chief of Staff Manager/Project Management 1 will be instrumental in ensuring that the Operating Unit meets its P&L targets and will be a key player in the company's mission to achieve the impossible.
