Footwear Product Developer - Innovation & Testing

The Product Development Associate plays a key role in supporting the creation and evolution of innovative footwear that delivers the signature OOFOS WOW! experience. This role partners cross-functionally with Design, Development, and Product teams to help bring consumer-focused products to market while ensuring consistency in comfort, fit, performance, and quality. The ideal candidate combines a passion for product with a proactive mindset, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. This individual will contribute to the continued evolution of OOFOS products through testing, product evaluation, and cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities Product Development & Testing Consistently evaluating WOW! Product that delivers Active Recovery performance and feel. Manage seasonal product development timelines and support the product creation process from concept through commercialization. Partner cross-functionally with Design and Development teams to ensure products are tested to meet performance, fit, comfort, and quality expectations. Coordinate and evaluate fit and wear testing, including collecting, analyzing, and communicating testing feedback and product insights. Monitor product consistency to ensure all products deliver the signature OOFOS fit, feel, and Active Recovery performance. Provide recommendations and feedback to support product improvements and enhance the overall consumer experience. Product Operations & Organization Maintain and manage the development sample archive library and seasonal product organization. Recruit, maintain, and manage consumer wear-test databases relevant to the OOFOS target consumer. Track product issues, testing results, and development updates to support informed product decisions. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Improvement Support cross-functional communication and collaboration to ensure key milestones and deliverables are achieved on time. Identify opportunities to improve product development processes, testing workflows, and organizational efficiency. Contribute to a team-first culture by supporting key initiatives and collaborating across departments as needed. Requirements 2 – 4 years of experience in footwear product development, product operations, testing, or related field. Bachelor’s degree in Product Development, Industrial Design, Engineering, Business, Sports Medicine, Exercise, Kinesiology, or related field. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines. Ability to analyze product feedback and contribute to product improvement discussions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Detail-oriented with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Excel is required (including pivot tables & VLookups a plus). Database proficiency is preferred (including creation of tables, databases and spreadsheets to analyze data).
