You'll transfer the products and equipment, using power tools and forklift trucks. You'll also keep the facility clean by removing debris and trash to ensure safety.*Note that this position demands stamina and a good physical condition, as you'll have to regularly lift heavy loads.ResponsibilitiesRemove debris and trashDust Mopping/collecting cardboard/plastic recyclingEmptying Pallets/ Operating Riding Pallet JacksForklift Operating (no certification needed; will train)Utilize/ride auto scrubberMaintain the warehouse's machinesBasic Janitorial Cleaning/ Keep the worksite clean to avoid hazardsBasic distribution supportReport on defective products or machineryFollow the company's safety and quality guidelinesRequirementsPrevious experience as a production worker or a similar role in a warehouse is preferred but not requiredGood understanding of how production equipment worksAbility to detect potential problems with machineryKnowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures (safety gear will be provided)Ability to lift heavy loads and transfer them manuallyGood communication and teamwork skillsThis can be more than a job, this could be a career.
