Position Summary This role oversees comprehensive patient care in a Walmart pharmacy, ensuring accurate prescription dispensing, immunization administration, and adherence to Board of Pharmacy regulations. The incumbent drives sales in the Pharmacy and OTC areas through effective merchandising, pricing, and inventory management. Responsibilities include guiding associates, enforcing customer service standards, managing pharmacy operations, maintaining compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements, leading inventory flow, and providing financial oversight. The position also fosters a culture of patient safety, quality care, and compliance, promotes diversity and inclusion, and supports the Walmart organizational values of integrity, customer focus, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Process and dispense prescription orders accurately. Administer immunizations and other Walmart-developed programs. Drive sales and profit in Pharmacy and OTC through merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, and inventory control. Model and enforce customer‑service approaches and resolve customer complaints within company guidelines. Lead community outreach programs and encourage associates to serve as community members. Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, implement loss prevention and safety controls, and conduct quality assurance reviews. Supervise and develop associates by providing training, mentoring, and performance feedback. Maintain confidentiality of pharmacy records and comply with HIPAA and state/federal guidelines. Conduct associate meetings to address needs and share new initiatives. Align pharmacy operations with company, regulatory, and QA standards. Document changes in pharmaceutical products and share information with associates and managers. Monitor inventory flow and execute order processes. Manage budgets and financial performance, ensuring alignment with business strategy. Promote patient‑care safety, accuracy, and counseling for new therapies. Implement compliance initiatives and monitor execution. Foster an inclusive workplace that builds high‑performing teams and supports employee growth. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, or equivalent FPGEC (NABP). Pharmacy license required by job entry date. Completion of an ACPE‑accredited immunization training program (e.g., APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored). Preferred: U.S. pharmacy‑related experience. Compensation and Benefits Annual salary range: $112,000.00 – $197,000.00. Performance‑based bonus awards; additional compensation may include regional pay zone and complex structure adjustments.
