Job Title: Drug Manufacturing Technician Job Description

This position is a non-exempt role, ensuring that hours worked over 40 will be compensated at time and a half. The Drug Manufacturing Technician is responsible for the proper maintenance and operation of drug manufacturing equipment. The technician accurately weighs raw materials and active ingredients, combining them into a precise blend. Maintaining cleanliness and good repair of equipment and facilities is essential. The role involves participation in completing work orders, including batch record documentation per cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice). Documentation must be accurately followed and completed with minimal errors or corrections. Training, including cGMP and safety training, must be completed in a timely manner. The ability to work independently or as part of a team and follow procedures exactly is crucial.

• Maintain and operate drug manufacturing equipment.
• Accurately weigh raw materials and active ingredients for blending.
• Ensure equipment and facility cleanliness and maintenance.
• Complete work orders with batch record documentation per cGMP.
• Follow and complete documentation accurately with minimal errors.
• Participate in cGMP and safety training promptly.
• Work independently or within a team setting, following procedures exactly.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience in batch mixing or chemical compounding.
• Knowledge of cGMP and production processes.
• Familiarity with SOPs and chemical handling.

• Experience in batch making, blending, or chemical processes.

The position offers a structured work environment with two shifts available: First Shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and Second Shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The workplace maintains a focus on safety and adherence to manufacturing protocols.

This is a Contract position based out of Des Plaines, IL.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Des Plaines,IL.
