Cell Controller (1st Shift)

Overview & Responsibilities

Overview

Under the direction of the assigned supervisor, coordinates the processing of orders to ensure that parts are completed and delivered In accordance with established schedules. Completes necessary data entry transactions.

Responsibilities

• Completes transactions on various data processing systems as required.
  
• Determines availability of resources and facilitates movement of material required to process orders under direction of supervisor.
  
• Informs supervision of potential production delays and recommends corrective action.
  
• Prepares and/or processes necessary reports or documents.
  

Tools and Equipment Used

• Data input terminal
  
• Printer
  
• Copy equipment
  
• Telephone/pager
  

Qualifications

• Must be able and willing to work all shifts.
  
• Must be able and willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  
• Shifts are not guaranteed.
  
• Minimum of 2 year experience in a manufacturing environment and divisional testing required.
  
• Experience with shop floor control processes using ERP systems is a plus.
