About the Role

HireCare is looking for a highly detail-oriented Job Board & Posting Optimization Specialist to own the quality, performance, and optimization of job postings across our healthcare clients.

This person will work closely with our recruiting team to make sure every job we post is positioned to attract applicants, from writing and editing the initial posting to optimizing listings on Indeed and other job boards, troubleshooting flagged or underperforming postings, and continuously improving results.

You don't need to be a recruiter. We're looking for someone who understands what makes a job posting perform, how job boards evaluate and distribute postings, and how to troubleshoot issues when a position isn't getting the visibility or applicants it should.

What You'll Do

Job Posting Development

·       Draft, edit, and optimize job descriptions for healthcare positions, including roles in home care, ABA, SNF, and other healthcare settings.

·       Review client-provided job descriptions and transform them into compelling, applicant-friendly postings.

·       Ensure postings are clear, accurate, consistent, and aligned with each client's requirements.

·       Tailor job postings based on location, schedule, compensation, qualifications, and target candidate population.

·       Maintain consistent posting standards and templates across clients.

Indeed & Job Board Optimization

·       Manage and optimize job listings on Indeed and other applicable job boards.

·       Monitor postings for visibility, applicant volume, and performance.

·       Identify and troubleshoot postings that are flagged, rejected, suppressed, or receiving limited distribution.

·       Understand job board posting guidelines and proactively prevent issues that may impact visibility.

·       Test and refine job titles, descriptions, keywords, locations, compensation information, and other posting elements to improve applicant flow.

·       Stay current on changes to Indeed and other job board policies, algorithms, and best practices.

Performance & Recruiting Support

·       Monitor applicant volume and identify jobs that are underperforming.

·       Partner with recruiters to determine when a posting needs to be refreshed, rewritten, or repositioned.

·       Make data-driven recommendations to improve applicant flow.

·       Identify patterns across clients, locations, job types, and postings.

·       Help establish best practices for job posting quality and performance.

What We're Looking For

·       2+ years of experience working with job postings, job boards, recruiting operations, talent acquisition, or digital job advertising.

·       Strong understanding of Indeed and/or other major job boards.

·       Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

·       Strong attention to detail — small errors in a job posting can have a big impact on performance.

·       Ability to understand why a job posting may not be performing and determine what needs to change.

·       Comfortable working with multiple clients, job types, and priorities simultaneously.

·       Strong organizational and follow-through skills.

·       Analytical mindset with the ability to look at performance data and identify opportunities.

·       Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

·       Experience supporting healthcare recruiting or staffing.

·       Experience with Indeed Employer or similar job-board platforms.

·       Experience troubleshooting rejected, flagged, or low-performing job postings.

·       Knowledge of SEO, keyword optimization, or digital advertising.

·       Experience working with high-volume hourly or healthcare recruiting.

·       Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruiting technology.
