Job Description: This role focuses on installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. You will work on new construction projects and existing facilities, handling pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures while ensuring all work meets safety and code requirements. The position requires strong technical skills, the ability to interpret blueprints and specifications, and effective collaboration with other trades on active job sites. A typical workday begins at 6:00 a.m., and you will be expected to deliver high-quality workmanship, accurate documentation, and professional communication with customers and team members.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3–5 years of plumbing experience. Experience in commercial construction and industrial plumbing projects.

• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Experience working with materials such as stainless steel, copper, polypropylene, PVC, and CPVC.

• Proficiency with jointing methods including brazing, electrofusion, grooving, no hub/hub and spigot, ProPress, soldering, and Swagelok.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for diagnosing plumbing issues.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Work Environment: The role is based on commercial and industrial new construction projects, with a typical start time of 6:00 a.m. You will work primarily on active job sites that involve coordination with multiple trades and disciplines. The work is hands-on and physically demanding, often requiring work in different positions and conditions, both indoors and on construction sites, while adhering to all safety and quality standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Media, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
