This is a full-time position located onsite at our Community Health Center partners in Ohio./ph3What Youll Do In The Role:/h3ulliRapidly adapt to different pharmacy workflows and team dynamics to maintain high levels of productivity./liliIdentify and resolve site-specific operational bottlenecks or backlog issues upon arrival at a new location to ensure consistent service levels across the district./liliPerform final verification on all prescriptions with 100% accuracy maintaining the highest standards of safety and accuracy./liliSupervise pharmacy technicians to ensure optimal workflow and productivity./liliManage inventory levels and ensure proper storage of high-value specialty medications (e.g., cold chain management)./liliMaintain strict compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies./liliDrive clinical intake and navigate benefits investigations./liliProvide specialized counseling to patients on complex therapy regimens./liliDocument clinical interventions and monitor patient adherence/side effects./liliCollaborate with providers to manage Prior Authorizations and Appeals./liliProvide clear, empathetic medication counseling, including specialized education for patients on complex specialty therapy regimens as needed./liliAct as a clinical resource for patients and healthcare providers regarding drug interactions and therapy management./liliResolve insurance adjudication issues and complex billing hurdles./liliOther responsibilities based on business needs./li/ulh3Education Licensure Requirements:/h3ulliPharmD, BS in Pharmacy, or equivalent FPGEC (NABP)./liliUnrestricted pharmacist license in good standing in the state of Ohio./liliMust be willing to obtain and maintain licenses in multiple states./li/ulh3Other Skills Or Qualifications:/h3ulli3+ years of direct patient care experience in pharmacy is preferred./liliBLS/CPR is required (or must be willing to obtain)./liliImmunization delivery certification is preferred./lili2+ years of retail pharmacy experience preferred./liliPGY1 residence or equivalent work experience preferred./liliExcellent written and oral communication skills./liliStrong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple things simultaneously./liliComfortable with technology and the ability to adapt to new systems./liliThe position may require some travel.
