Industrial Electrician – Manufacturing Plant (Union Site)Oxford Solutions is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician for a direct hire opportunity at a union manufacturing facility. This role requires working rotating shifts (day, mid, and night) including weekends.ResponsibilitiesInspect, repair, replace, install, wire, adjust, and maintain electrical equipment throughout the plantDiagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems, including Siemens controls, contacts, and control systemsPerform electrical repairs and maintenance on cranes, furnaces, motors, generators, and other AC/DC equipmentWork with multiple voltages, including high voltage up to 27,000 voltsMaintain, repair, and troubleshoot DC crane operationsMake mechanical repairs to cranes and related equipment as needed for electrical serviceEnsure safe use of tools, equipment, and testing devices in compliance with safety standardsTools & Equipment UsedDrill press, power saw, chain fall, burning equipmentPortable drills and grinders, soldering equipment, pipe bendersElectrical testing equipment and hand toolsMaterials Worked WithAC and DC equipment including furnaces, cranes, manipulators, motors, and generatorsTransformers, switches, circuit breakers, control panels, and lighting circuitsElectrical wiring, conduit, insulation, and related repair partsQualificationsMinimum of 4 years of industrial maintenance experience (school and/or work experience)Strong knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, troubleshooting, and controlsExperience with Siemens controls preferredAbility to work with multiple voltage levels, including high voltage up to 27,000 voltsMechanical aptitude for crane maintenance and related electrical equipment repairsAbility to work rotating shifts and weekends as scheduledStrong commitment to safety and attention to detail
