Per Diem Pharmacist in Benton Harbor, MI

Seeking an experienced pharmacist to provide per diem home infusion pharmacy coverage from March 30 to April 6. This opportunity offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm within a closed-door home infusion environment, supporting patient care through careful verification and preparation of prescriptions.


Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and prepare home infusion prescriptions for shipment in a timely and accurate manner
• Communicate proactively with patients to notify them of upcoming orders and address questions
• Assist in managing pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow and quality control

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and clear Michigan pharmacist license
• Minimum of 2 years pharmacist experience, with a preference for home infusion familiarity
• Comfortable working with PioneerRx software and handling moderate prescription volume (approximately 30 packages weekly, 5-15 prescriptions per package)
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with pharmacy staff

• Closed door home infusion setting focused on accuracy and patient care
• Support team includes one full-time and one part-time pharmacy technician(s)
