Job Title: Marketing & Communications Specialist Location: Buffalo & Rochester Campuses Employment Type: Full-Time, 12-Month Position Salary Range: $43,000 - $52,000

Position Overview: Buffalo Academy of Science Charter School is seeking a creative and motivated Marketing & Communications Specialist to support branding, storytelling, and event promotion across both our Buffalo and Rochester campuses. This full-time role is ideal for someone passionate about visual communication, community engagement, and school outreach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop promotional materials for print and digital use
• Support school branding and ensure consistency across all platforms
• Promote school events through photography, videography, and social media
• Capture and share stories that highlight the school community
• Coordinate outreach efforts to engage diverse local communities
• Collaborate with staff to support internal and external communication strategies
• Travel regularly between Buffalo and Rochester campuses as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field
• Strong skills in digital content creation, including graphics, photo/video editing, and storytelling
• Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Valid New York State Driver's License and ability to travel between campuses

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $43,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
