Job description Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Athletic Director to oversee all aspects of our athletic programs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports and education, with a focus on fostering student-athletes' growth and success. Responsibilities Develop and implement athletic programs that align with the school's mission and values Manage the budget for athletic programs, including equipment, travel, and facilities Recruit, hire, and supervise coaching staff Coordinate scheduling of practices, games, and tournaments Ensure compliance with all league, conference, and regulatory requirements Collaborate with academic staff to support student-athletes' academic success Promote a positive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and integrity Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education Administration or related field; Master's degree preferred Experience working in higher education teaching or university athletics Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to educate and mentor student-athletes Knowledge of IHSAA rules and regulations If you are passionate about athletics and education, with a commitment to developing well-rounded student-athletes, we invite you to apply for the position of Athletic Director.
