Tax Relief Closer (FT)

: We are a leading financial services company seeking for a highly qualified and experienced Tax Relief Closer to join our team. Position Overview:

• A professional individual who specializes in managing and overseeing the sales tax process for businesses.
• The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors and other stakeholders.
• As Tax Relief Closer, you are responsible in helping businesses manage their sales tax obligation and avoid costly penalties and fines.
• Always stay up to date with changes in sales tax law and regulations and advise the company on compliance issues.
• You will work with clients to resolve their tax issues and help them achieve financial stability.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the sales tax process for the company, including calculating and submitting sales tax returns to the appropriate tax authorities.
• Maintain accurate records of all sales tax transactions and ensure compliance with state and local sales tax laws and regulations.
• Communicate with clients to understand their tax issues and develop a strategy to resolve them
• Advise the company on sales tax compliance issues and stay up to date with changes in sales tax laws and regulations.
• Work closely with other departments within the company, including Sales and Accounting, to ensure that sales tax is properly accounted for in financial statements and reports.
• Prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and institutions.
• Respond to sales tax inquiries from clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in tax law and accounting
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of state and local sales tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
