Account Executive

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Accounting Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $100,000 to $120,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including company-wide consolidation.
- Manage and supervise direct reports and third-party outsourcing partners.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and reviews of financial records.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and internal management reports.
- Oversee bank reconciliations for both corporate and restaurant accounts.
- Perform sales and use tax filings and personal property tax filings across multiple states.
- Assist with payroll preparation, reporting, and accounts payable functions.
- Respond to customer and vendor inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Review and identify opportunities for automation and simplification in financial systems.
- Support system improvements by leading and participating in project initiatives.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of GAAP and financial principles.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Show proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Have experience with Restaurant365 and prior work in the restaurant industry.
