Duration: 6+ months with possible extension or conversion

Pay range: $33/hr - $35/hr W2

Schedule: Mon – Fri

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to support our Nashville office and a distributed workforce across the US, Mexico, Canada, and Eastern Europe. This is a contract role for a hands-on IT professional who can quickly adapt to a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently while collaborating with a distributed IT team, providing white-glove end-user support, troubleshooting a broad range of technology issues, and maintaining a strong customer-service mindset. You should be detail-oriented, comfortable asking questions, and willing to work outside standard boundaries when needed to deliver an excellent end-user experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues involving Apple and Windows desktops and laptops.
• Assist with AV setup and support for internal meetings and events.
• Provide onsite and remote support for AV systems, including Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Chrome device management, projectors, and audio/video conferencing equipment.
• Image and deploy laptops and desktops using enterprise MDM tools, including Jamf, NinjaOne, and AirWatch.
• Administer and support Okta, Google Workspace, and software services.
• Deploy and support software applications for end users.
• Respond to IT Helpdesk requests both in person and through the ticketing system.
• Manage hardware and software inventory.
• Work with escalation points to identify opportunities to improve the end-user experience.
• Create, maintain, and improve internal and user-facing knowledge base (KB) documentation.

Requirements

• Positive, service-oriented attitude with a strong customer-obsession mindset.
• 2–3+ years of experience in IT support roles.
• Basic to intermediate networking knowledge, including servers, switches, Wi-Fi, and related technologies.
• Hands-on AV support experience.
• Experience administering Apple/Mac products using enterprise management tools.
• Hands-on experience managing Windows laptops and desktops.
• Experience using and managing ticket-based enterprise workflow management systems, particularly ITIL Service Desk software and Confluence.
• Strong macOS hardware and software troubleshooting experience.
• Solid critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and handle equipment weighing up to 50+ pounds as needed.
