Merchandising Lead

Position Summary Position Summary… Responsibilities Provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying member needs, providing guidance and support regarding self‑service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving member issues and concerns, and promoting company products and services. Assist management with supervising associates in the assigned area, assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes, procedures, and member service approaches, ensuring member complaints and issues are resolved per company guidelines, and supporting the Open Door Policy. Assist with recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting coaching, and evaluating associates. Receive and stock supplies and merchandise from distribution centers and vendors, organize and maintain the sales floor using equipment and merchandising, complete paperwork logs, and other documentation per company policies. Maintain safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting and handling procedures, and disposing hazardous materials per policy and steel standard guidelines. Ensure maintenance of sales floor and merchandise presentation, handling claims and returns, zoning, stocking, arranging, and organizing merchandise, setting up displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, and securing fragile and high‑shrink merchandise. Monitor food and merchandise quality, ensuring product rotation, code dating, product recalls, and sanitation standards are followed per company policies. Oversee picking and staging of club pick‑up orders to ensure products are selected and staged per company policy. Develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners, analyzing information, monitoring progress, and identifying improvement opportunities. Demonstrate and support compliance with company policies, procedures, and integrity standards through explanation, demonstration, action plans, and ethical issue resolution. Lead and participate in teams, share resources, determine customer needs, coordinate work assignments, provide advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and quality. Model and help others adapt to change or new challenges. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. 6 months retail experience and 6 months customer service experience. Preferred Qualifications Leading a team, supervising experience to include hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing the workload of others. The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 to $29.00; the actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage.
