Position: Clinical Service Manager Reports to: HS Lead Service Manager Hours: FT (40 hrs). We do this through community awareness, client advocacy, and a comprehensive array of services. Position Overview The full‑time Clinical Service Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting survivors of human trafficking by providing comprehensive, trauma‑informed case management services aimed at enhancing clients’ stability, well‑being, and self‑sufficiency. This position involves working closely with survivors to assess their needs, develop individualized service plans, and connect them with essential resources, including housing, healthcare, employment, and legal support. As an advocate for the survivor’s voice and choice, the Clinical Case Manager ensures each client’s goals and preferences are respected throughout the recovery process. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, the position offers emotional support, crisis intervention, and ongoing assistance to navigate complex systems, fostering a safe and empowering environment for healing and growth. This role requires a deep understanding of trauma and resilience, emphasizing a commitment to the dignity, autonomy, and long‑term well‑being of each survivor served. Minimum Qualifications & Requirements Identify with Healing Action’s organizational values of Collaboration, Self‑Determination, Well‑being, Authenticity, Transparency, and Quality Demonstrable knowledge of trauma‑informed theories, principles, and best practices in working with individuals with complex trauma. Demonstrable rights‑based, harm‑reduction, and social‑justice framework. Demonstrated ability to model appropriate relational boundaries, use team support, and practice self‑care when exposed to high volume of traumatized victims. Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; proven ability to communicate with diverse audiences. Have a valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a Class E license within one week of starting employment, proof of automobile insurance with coverage of at least $100,000 bodily injury per person, $300,000 bodily injury per accident, and at least $100,000 property damage per accident. Have a non‑disqualifying criminal background check. Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field (provisional licensure preferred). Minimum of 2 years of post‑graduation practice preferred; practicum completed at Healing Action Network accepted. What You’ll Do Trauma‑Informed Practice. Establish a compassionate, strengths‑based helping relationship with members, grounded in trauma‑informed principles and respect for their experiences. Conduct thorough assessments of members’ complex needs, identifying challenges and strengths to guide individualized, trauma‑sensitive service plans. Collaboratively create safety plans tailored to each member’s immediate needs and long‑term safety goals. Partner with members to set measurable, client‑specific goals and outcomes that align with their recovery journey and empower self‑determination. Provide community‑based support by accompanying members to appointments, court hearings, and community activities, reinforcing stability and confidence. Connect members to essential resources—such as housing, transportation, benefits, and employment—to build independence and resilience. Facilitate integrated care by coordinating social services across systems, ensuring continuity and a holistic approach to member support. Deliver psychoeducation and therapeutic skills training to enhance members’ understanding of recovery, self‑care, and resilience strategies. Build and maintain relationships with community organizations and providers to expand accessible resources and support networks for survivors. Complete and maintain accurate, timely service documentation, including case notes, assessments, safety plans, and outcome tracking to ensure compliance and quality service delivery. Participate in regular team meetings, supervision sessions, and all‑agency meetings to align on service strategies, update on case progress, and ensure consistent trauma‑informed care practices. Engage in ongoing professional development, including trainings on trauma‑informed care, human trafficking, and best practices in service management, to continuously enhance skills and knowledge. Contribute to agency data collection and reporting efforts, providing insights on program outcomes and supporting service evaluation and improvement. Collaborate with team members to strengthen administrative processes and support service delivery, ensuring seamless and effective care coordination.
