Sr. Financial Analyst

DescriptionWe are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to support financial planning, performance reporting, and decision support for a service-based organization in City of Industry, California. This role partners closely with operational leaders to translate financial results into actionable recommendations, improve budgeting processes, and strengthen reporting accuracy. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capability, advanced modeling skills, and practical experience using automation or AI-driven approaches to make finance operations more efficient and scalable.Responsibilities:• Produce recurring financial reports with a high standard of accuracy and within established deadlines.• Support monthly branch income statement analysis, identify performance trends, and share insights that help operations leaders stay aligned with business goals.• Apply AI and automation capabilities to optimize repetitive finance activities, enhance data reliability, and expand the efficiency of reporting processes.• Build clear ad hoc analyses that simplify complex financial outcomes and help stakeholders make informed business decisions.• Coordinate the annual budgeting cycle by developing guidance materials, refining planning templates, modeling labor cost assumptions, and assisting with user training.• Cross-train on key FP& A reporting deliverables to provide coverage and continuity for finance leadership when needed.• Strengthen the quality of accounting and financial results by developing useful reports and supporting compliance with company standards.• Stay current on financial and accounting technologies used across the organization and recommend process improvements where appropriate.• Design and implement process enhancements that improve the effectiveness, consistency, and speed of finance team output.• When assigned, help drive strategic initiatives by organizing project meetings, preparing executive-ready presentation materials, and monitoring follow-up actions.Requirements• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP& A, or a related finance role.• Demonstrated strength in financial modeling, variance analysis, and interpreting profit and loss performance.• Ability to perform ad hoc analysis and present findings in a concise, business-friendly format.• Experience using data mining techniques to gather, organize, and evaluate financial information.• Familiarity with AI model deployment, AI engineering concepts, or AI strategy within finance or business process improvement environments.• Working knowledge of AI process mapping and process automation for recurring analytical workflows.• Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven setting.Job typePerm
