Operations Manager
The operational leader who drives efficiency, coordinates cross-functional workflows, and ensures seamless day-to-day performance across our accounting and advisory services.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, telecommute position. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities & Duties
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage day-to-day operations, including production planning, workflow management, and resource allocation
- Oversee and coordinate business functions using UltraTax, Practice CS, and HubSpot software to support efficiency and integration across departments
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and industry standards
- Apply Lean principles and best practices to improve processes and enhance overall operational performance
- Direct comprehensive production planning and oversee and enhance the department's operational efficiency, quality control, and operational management
- Foster effective communication and collaboration within the financial accounting and advisory team
- Request and track the fulfillment of any missing documents or information from clients, maintaining accurate records of outstanding items
- Prepare financial reports related to operational performance and resource utilization
- Schedule and facilitate regular team meetings to discuss project statuses, deadlines, and any arising issues
- Maintain a well organized filing system, both digital and physical, for easy access to client and project documents
- Monitor financial project timelines and deadlines, proactively addressing any potential delays or issues
- Play a pivotal role in policy and procedure development, contributing to organizational growth and effectiveness of our accounting and advisory services
Requirements
Background Job Requirements for the Operations Manager include:
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or a related field
- One (1) year related experience required
