Polysomnographic Technician

$10,000 Commitment Bonus with 2-year Commitment. Job Details Schedule: Full-time, Days Responsibilities Prepares for the arrival of the patient by setting up and preparing equipment for the ordered test. Interviews patient to determine sleep disorder issues and explains testing procedures. Performs testing and any additional testing required for sleep disorder. Scores, interprets, and reports results of sleep studies. Educates patients about test results, sleep disorders, community support groups, and available resources. Prepares, calibrates, repairs, and maintains equipment required for testing. Determines and reports needed repairs and replacements. Maintains proper supplies to care for patients. Qualifications Registered Polysomnographic Technologist, valid and current on Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT). Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
