Quick Facts Location: Minneapolis, MN Start Date: 11/16/2026 End Date: 02/15/2027 Shift: 24-hour in-house call (can accommodate 12-hour shifts) Hours/Week: 36 hours Employment Type: Temporary/Locum Licenses/Certifications: Board Certified in OB/GYN, MN license (IMLC if out-of-state) Experience: High-risk obstetrics experience preferred, trauma I or II experience highly desired Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $5,779.80 Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements Robust referral bonus program 24/7 support from dedicated team What You’ll Do Provide obstetric care with a focus on high-risk pregnancies, supporting Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Assist with deliveries, including high-acuity cases and c-sections Co-manage complex obstetric patients alongside MFM specialists and ICU teams Respond to urgent OB needs and emergencies across the unit Collaborate with in-house specialists and other OB providers for seamless patient care Document all patient interactions accurately using Epic and Obix systems Support postpartum patients and manage labor and delivery processes What You Need Valid Board Certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology Minnesota medical license or IMLC (for out-of-state providers) Minimum of trauma I or II experience Strong procedural skills, including assisting with c-sections and high-risk management Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment This assignment involves providing obstetric and maternal-fetal medicine coverage at a prominent Minneapolis hospital. The role focuses on high-risk obstetric care, including assisting with deliveries and managing complex cases. You will work with a multidisciplinary team in a Level II nursery, supporting a patient population predominantly composed of high-risk pregnancies requiring specialized management.
