Job Type: Full-time

Experience:

• Accounting: 1 year (Required)

Qualifications:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and vendor payments
• Receive, record, and deposit school funds accurately and securely
• Prepare and maintain financial reports, ledgers, and reconciliations
• Assist with audits and maintain detailed financial documentation
• Track classroom, grant, and program expenditures
• Maintain compliance filings, including Secretary of State documentation
• Support purchasing and inventory tracking for materials, supplies, and equipment
• Provide professional, courteous service to staff, vendors, auditors, and board members
• Serve as a reliable resource to managers and department leads on fiscal procedures
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
• Drive to local sites such as banks or the post office as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold the school’s mission and values

Qualifications and Skills

• Required experience with Specialized Data Systems/LINQ software
• Must be a notary public or willing to become one within six months of hire
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
• Ability to work effectively with auditors, board members, and administrators
• Highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Skilled at managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
