License: BLS, ARRT or NMTCB
Certifications: No state license required
Must-Have:
Experience with cardiac scans, stress rest tests, HIDA scans, renal scans, bone scans, lung scans/perfusions (VQ scan), GI bleeds, parathyroids with Spec CT, and administration of i131.
Proficiency with Siemens CKM and Siemens Symbia S.
Comfortable working solo, as may be the only Nuclear Medicine Technologist on shift.
Description:
This role involves performing nuclear medicine procedures.
You will be responsible for conducting a variety of diagnostic scans for adult patients.
The average patient census is approximately 14 patients per day.
You will work with advanced technology including EMR and PACS systems.
Collaboration with a lead technologist and management is expected.
You will have support from other Nuclear Medicine Technologists during the week and an RN for cardiac cases on the weekend.
Your role may require being on call during weekends and certain holidays.
First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
Experience with Siemens Prospecta is preferred.
The unit culture promotes teamwork and patient-centered care.
