Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize and maintain pharmacy information systems to enhance medication safety, workflow efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff, clinicians, and IT teams to ensure accurate functionality across electronic health records (EHRs), automated dispensing systems, and medication management tools.
- Assist with system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and data analysis.
- Conduct user training sessions promoting data integrity and support quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy department.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Proven experience as a pharmacy technician with strong informatics or IT skills.
- Solid expertise with Meditech pharmacy information systems is essential.
- Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including pharmacy staff, clinicians, and IT professionals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in user training and data analysis preferred.
