Assistant Manager (Full-Time)

We're looking for an enthusiastic, guest-focused leader to help deliver that experience every day.

As an Assistant Manager, you'll partner with the General Manager to lead a clean, high-performing restaurant where teamwork, hospitality, and results are always the standard. If you enjoy coaching people, solving problems, and helping your team succeed while taking great care of guests, you'll fit right in.

What You'll Do

• Support day-to-day operations to ensure smooth service, great product quality, and an exceptional guest experience.
• Help lead, coach, and motivate team members to perform at their best.
• Maintain strong restaurant cleanliness and safety standards in line with Department of Health and Bluegrass Hospitality requirements.
• Assist in driving performance by tracking results, meeting company goals, and taking action to improve outcomes.
• Communicate expectations clearly and consistently, helping employees understand the "how" behind great service.
• Use thoughtful, practical problem-solving to address challenges in real time.
  
  • Follow and uphold all company policies, procedures, and performance standards.

General Job Requirements

• Ability to perform all job functions safely.
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service.
• Ability to lead and direct staff in an effective, professional manner.
• Must meet company performance standards and expectations for the role.
• Participate in all company training and orientations, including training that may require overnight travel.
• Ability to work the scheduled hours/assigned times for the position.
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds and maintain the physical ability and stamina required for management job duties.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have daytime availability for scheduled shifts, including weekends as needed
• Must be service-driven with a strong focus on guest satisfaction
• Must be trustworthy, dependable, and able to handle responsibilities with integrity
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have at least 3 years of restaurant or customer service experience
• Must assist with opening and closing duties and help ensure smooth shift execution
• Must support day-to-day operations, including monitoring food service, cleanliness, and workflow
• Must lead by example and help coach team members to deliver consistent service
• Must be able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Must follow company policies, safety procedures, and food-handling guidelines
• Must have strong communication skills to coordinate with staff and management
• Must be willing to work a full-time schedule with flexible coverage when business needs require it
