Locum General Dentist

Overview Enjoy the flexibility of a locum position with the autonomy to serve your patients with the highest standard of care. We'll take care of your travel expenses, and you can craft a work schedule that fits your lifestyle. Short and long term contracts are available across 30 states. Schedule (days/hours) Monday-Wed 8-5, lunch 1-2 Thurs 8-4, lunch 12-1. Friday only if locum wants Responsibilities Conduct thorough dental examinations, diagnose oral health issues, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment maintenance to promote long-term oral health. Lead your team, dental assistants, hygienists, and other staff members to ensure smooth patient care and treatment coordination. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, procedures performed, and patient progress. Stay updated on advancements in dentistry, attend seminars, and pursue ongoing education to provide the latest and best treatments. Adhere to ethical and legal standards, following regulatory guidelines and ensuring patient confidentiality. Qualifications DDS or DMD from an accredited school Active state dental license, CPR Certification, and DEA License (or in process of obtaining ) Controlled Substance License (if required by the state) Legally authorized to work in the US.
