Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements:

• Completed a professional course of education accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association
• Current licensure to practice Physical Therapy in the state and BLS certified
• Amiable personality, ability to make sound judgments, and maintain an empathetic and understanding attitude towards patients
• Ability to successfully pass Background Check and Drug Screen

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Organize and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy to address impairments and functional limitations.
• Develop treatment plans to improve patients' quality of life following injury or disease.
• Consider patients' gender, age, cultural differences, and educational needs during assessments and treatment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure holistic patient care.
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and home exercises.

Compliance / Notes:

• Will not accept in-state travelers unless they exceed a 250-mile radius.
• On-call weekends once a month.
