Chief Human Resources Officer

POSITION:

As a member of the Executive Leadership team the Chief Human Resources Officer is one of the key leaders in the mission, work, and continued success of our client. This strategic and hands-on leader will leverage HR’s performance to inspire, contribute, develop and execute strategy aligned to culture, mission, goals, and values.

The CHRO oversees both daily HR staffing and operations and long-term planning, collaborating with leadership to develop staffing strategies based on data, market trends, finances, growth, and retention.

This collaborative HR Leader will formulate and recommend relevant policies and procedures, advance community, culture and belonging, develop and deliver programs and services to employees including, training & development, compliance, benefits, and compensation that deliver strong employee engagement.

The CHRO will also develop strong working relationships with the leadership team amoungst the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Provide leadership in the areas of employment, employee relations, labor relations issues, wage and benefits management and administration, orientation, training, unemployment, and workers compensation.

•Provide guidance on organizational structures and development plans to support the understanding, implementation, and advancement of desired organizational structure.

•Recruit, interview and assist with the selection of qualified candidates to fill vacancies.

•Ensure employees and staff have the required training, credentials and skills to meet the needs of the patient population ensured by our client.

•Review and participate in salary surveys and analyze reports to determine a competitive compensation plan. Also, negotiate cost effective and comprehensive employee health insurance and other benefits with vendors and other external parties for staff.

•Develop HR and personnel policies/procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Present policies for review and approval at Board monthly meetings.

EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business or related field.

• 10 + Years’ Experience in Human Resources, at least 5 years’ management experience.

•Experience recruiting, developing, and retaining staff to support the organization’s mission and delivery of services.

•Strong interpersonal and communications skills.

•Problem solver organized and detail oriented.

•Software/Hardware: Must be proficient and have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
