Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (flexibility of +/- 30 minutes) Pay: $32-$36 We're partnering with a well-respected nonprofit organization in Bellevue to identify a Senior Accountant for a paternity leave coverage assignment. With an annual operating budget of approximately $14 million, this organization is known for its collaborative culture, commitment to DEI, and supportive work environment. This role will play a key role in maintaining day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and reconciliations. Key Responsibilities Perform full-cycle accounting duties including general ledger maintenance and journal entries Prepare financial reports and assist with monthly reporting activities Manage cash receipts and bank reconciliations Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Assist with payroll-related accounting activities Maintain accurate accounting records and support month‑end close Process and reconcile fundraising and donation activity Support tuition accounting and enrollment‑related transactions Assist with special projects and other accounting functions as needed Qualifications Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting, debits/credits, and general ledger accounting Experience preparing financial reports and reconciliations Background in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Preferred Qualifications Nonprofit accounting experience Familiarity with systems such as Blackbaud, AvidXchange, or similar accounting platforms Interview Process One virtual interview with the Controller and Director of Finance & Operations #J-18808-Ljbffr Matrix Finance and Accounting
